Rose Venkatesan, is India's first transgender TV anchor. Rose became India’s first transgender talk show host when she hosted the show Ippadikku Rose, on the tamil channel Vijay TV. She will be the World’s first transgender to direct, produce and anchor a TV show 'Ithu Rose Neram' which will start telecasting from July 4, 2009 , 9:30 pm every Saturday in tamil channel Kalaignar TV.
