Arson On Indian Restaurant In Sydney
Sydney, July 6 (IBNS): An Indian restaurant was engulfed by fire in a suspected arson attack here on Monday night, though no persons were injured.
An explosion ripped the restaurant at about 11.30 p.m., reports said on Tuesday.
Police are investigating possible links between the incident and a bomb threat at another restaurant on Cleveland Street recently.
An eye-witness said that a ‘loud explosion, like bomb’ was heard just after 11.30 p.m. and two persons were spotted running away from the site barely half-an-hour before the incident.
Four others climbed out of a window of the restaurant after the fire and were unhurt.
