Leslie Van Houten used to be one of the members of the Charles Manson family. She was alleged of murdering a few famous personalities back in the year 1969. It is said that she had a major role in the murder of the Hollywood’s famous actress Leno, Rosemary Labianca, Sharon Tate and many others. Currently she is in the prison and fighting for her freedom. Leslie Van Houten will be presented in front of the parole board soon. This will be her 19th presentation in front of the parole board. Vincent Bugliosi is the in charge of her case. Vincent told the Wichita County bar association that the murder was an unusual case and Leslie Van Houten did not committed all of those murders in personnel.
Vincent told the County that Manson sent his members out with a name to kill and Leslie Van Houten was one of those who were ordered to kill the beautiful actress Sharon Tate and many other innocent people. This was told by Vincent to the County. After she was convicted of murdering so many people she was sentenced to death by the California jury but due to the involvement of the United States Supreme court Leslie Van Houten was saved from death sentence. Van Houten has been kept in the California Institution for women at Frontera. Van Houten is expecting that she will be released in her 19th meeting with the parole board due to her good behavior in the prison. Even if she is given a freedom it will take many days for the order to pass which has to be permitted by many of the government officials. But doing so much she will be granted freedom if the decision goes in her favor.
