National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon will visit China from July 3 to 6 as a special envoy of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to discuss bilateral relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest.
“Indian Prime Minister’s envoy Menon will pay a visit from July 3 to 6,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a news briefing here on Thursday.
The two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of common interest, he said.
The details of his programme would be announced later, Mr. Qin said.
