More than a lakh public fed Rathyatra today. feverish activity that took place in the kitchens in Saraspur pole the last two days. Nine pols in the area — Luhar Sheri, Kadiavad, Limdapol, Amblivaad, Gandhi ni pol, Saalvivad, Gopallaji nu Mandir Vad vaas, Panchal sheri and Vankar sheri –are playing good host.
From candy and Farsan is puri-shaak and daal-bhaat, everything is ready here. All lovers of Jagannath, irrespective of caste or economic status, have a meal cooked in pols. This year, about 4,000 people are expected to join Rathyatra.
