Delhi Belly music director is now circulating pictures from Anubhav Sinha's film 'Cash'. Wonders if he showed it to his son?
After blasting at the quality of songs in Anubhav Sinha's film Cash, Ram Sampat, who lent his music and voice for Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly, has gone a step further.
He sent us photographs from two numbers of the Dia Mirza and Ajay Devgn-starrer and questions the Ra.One director about them.
Talking about the photos, Ram says that besides the lyrics of the songs in Cash, he also finds the picturisation very provocative.
"There is a lot of skin show in these songs. Apart from skimpily-clad women there is pole dancing, chest heaves and butt jerks.
Nobody had a problem when the Censor Board approved this. He (Sinha) is fine with his kid seeing this! This is blatant hypocrisy," he says.
Cheap publicity
"It's very cheesy to comment on our song when he has done this kind of work himself. It's not like he has made Rajshri- style films! The board has approved our song.
To cast aspersions on our intentions after the song has become successful is an act of cheap publicity," Sampat further adds.
So, why has Aamir Khan kept a mum on this issue? The music composer says, "He doesn't want to react. The only conversation I had with him was that I would like to express myself.
He said, 'alright if you want to speak. I am not going to speak'."
Sinha is directing Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One. So, is this actually a clash of Aamir and SRK? "It doesn't need to be. We wish Ra.One very well," Ram says.
