England v Bangladesh: Eoin Morgan and Andrew Strauss lead Middlesex lines
Morgan was obtainable with his Test cap before the game by Graham Gooch, the man who scored more runs in Test cricket than any other Englishman, who has work a lot with him in nets in new days.
Morgan must prove that he has endurance and technique to stand the rigors of the five-day game was impressive sufficient in the past year in one day and Twenty20 cricket to force himself into the Test side.
He is not a lack of trust. When asked what would occur if he bats for five hours, he said: "I'll have 400 of the time."
His addition, and in the Middlesex team-mate Steven Finn, adds an attractive twist on what would have been the flattest probable return for England's World Cup conquest.
Bangladesh is unlikely to provide too much confrontation the next day, unused as they are for the early season English circumstances.
They are supposed to at least give a steady return of Captain Andrew Strauss, and almost certainly even more significant at this time, a great chance to find one form or an additional.
Strauss fought throughout his six weeks in county cricket while England top the world in the Caribbean, but he loves the Lord and an mild batting pitch and even the milder attacks are almost certainly just what he wants.
Six of the preliminary lineup for England was not in the Caribbean, counting four of the six best.Recurrent's Jonathan Trott at number three with a point to show and a place in the side to protect. He will be given an early study after Bangladesh chosen to bowl when they won the draw this daybreak in overcast, cold weather, at Lord's.
MCC has sold approximately 14,000 tickets for today's first day, a decent effort in tight financial climate and perhaps the only time that Bangladesh ever play a test match in front of this throng.
