Draft regulation of the Government of India, which limit the term, the leaders of national sports federations to 12 years was rejected unanimously by the Indian Olympic Association on Tuesday.
An extraordinary meeting IOA has decided that the Indian sports to change the constitution to include one of the guidelines suggested Gill, Minister of Sports.

"First of all, the Olympic Charter clearly states that only national Olympic Committee has the right to decide the term of office of officials and members of the board," said Kalmadi.
