Six Naxals arrested for Dantewada killings
In a major get through in the Chhattisgarh police under arrest six persons counting independent Naxal leader Barsa Lakhma supposedly involved in the gunning down by 76 guard here last month.
"We have arrested six populace in two dissimilar events, including Lakhma evening from Morpali, four miles from Chintalnar," manager of Police Amresh Mishra told PTI at this time.
The six were supposedly involved in killing 75 CRPF workers and a state police officer in April 6, the largest attack on the guards in the post self-government age.
The under arrest Naxals have told officers during questioning that the CRPF personnel had been sitting ducks after they lost the wireless sets of slain deputy head of the 62 CRPF brigade.
Lakhma told them that the Naxals were keeping a close tab on pressure group of the para-military forces workers with the help of the wireless set.
