Spicejet flight makes emergency landing at Delhi airport

A Spice Jet flights on the Delhi-Srinagar flight made an crisis landing at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport on Monday afternoon since of a tire problem, officials said. All 188 passengers were report to be safe.

"A Delhi-Srinagar Spice Jet flight took off from Delhi Airport had to make an urgent situation landing here at 2:40 p.m. today (Monday) at Air traffic Control announce Spice Jet authorities that they saw some tire wreckage on the runway," an airline official told IANS.

"Therefore, as a defensive measure and uphold the safety of passenger in mind, the plane made an urgent situation landing. All the passengers are safe, and studies on the substance," the official added.
