Williams sisters back at Nos. 1-2 at French Open

Williams sisters

Serena and Venus Williams is the French Open two top-seeded women, and if it seems like it's been a while since they were in a Grand Slam contest, it is since it has.

It is the first time the American sisters seeded 1-2 in a major competition since the Australian Open in January 2003.

Top Rated Serena and Venus says she "feels that we deserve to be here" - though "people have said that we would never be No. 1 and No. 2 in the world once more."

Play at Roland Garros begins Sunday, where Venus Williams will meet previous top 10 player Patty Schnyder. This is the older Williams '14: e successive French Open, but she made it past the quarterfinals only once, when she lost to her sister in the 2002 final.
