Punjab and Haryana High Court Wednesday kept its decision Thursday on the bail plea, the former police chief Haryana SPS Rathore, who has been convicted and sent to prison for molesting teenage Ruchika Girhotra.
Rathore was served an 18-month sentence, the 25 of a district and sessions court here. His wife and advice Abha Rathore had filed a petition alongside bail in the High Court.
"The High Court has reserved pronouncement until tomorrow (Thursday)," said Anmol Rattan Sidhu, a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) counsel.
Rathore has been convicted of molesting Girhotra in 1990. She stanch suicide three years later.
