India- US strategic dialogue starts today
India and the United States will continue its strong bilateral relationship with the strategic dialogue initiative, first issued after the visit of U. S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton last year in India. June 3 marks the inaugural strategic dialogue between the two countries to discuss the future direction of US-India relations and U.S. strategic interests in Asia and India.

June 2 to 3 year strategic dialogue with the EU's External Relations Minister SM Krishna and U. S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss all sorts of all bilateral, regional and global issues. "It provides direction for programs currently implemented and steps taken by India and the United States for further development, security and economic interests," said the foreign policy Vishnu Prakash's spokesman for the Ministry.


Question, which mainly have discussed the dialogue covers issues related to high technology trade, science and technology, civil nuclear cooperation, agriculture, human resource development, security and other strategic issues.

Industry body FICCI summit organized by the month-long programs in their efforts to make Indo-US trade and economic relations to a new level.

U.S. investment in India, Invest India program will facilitate the FICCI and the Indian investment in the United States, which is now picking up after the recession is the other major issues to be discussed
