Is the modelling world, indeed dark and lonely?
Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘Fashion’ is a blockbuster no doubt but was received with much apprehension by the Fashion World. Models especially were of the opinion that the film was ‘exaggerated’ to a large extent. However, every time a renowned model or a celeb ends her life, Bhandarkar’s film starts seeming like a mirror which rightly exposed the ugly underbelly of the fashion world.
The recent tragic death of former model Viveka Babajee and Miss India Nafisa Joseph (few years back) has brought the film back into limelight and the National award winning filmmaker, Madhur Bhandarkar still stands by his film which blatantly exposed the fashion world like never before.
