Lakers-Celtics Game 7 finds itself full of subplots, intrigue
LOS ANGELES — As if the story lines of a Boston Celtics-Los Angeles Lakers NBA Finals weren't compelling enough, Game 7 delivers a potpourri of high-stakes drama.
Most important, the Celtics will be without starting center Kendrick Perkins for today's finale (9 p.m. ET, ABC).

Perkins, an outstanding defender and physical presence, tore two ligaments in his right knee early in Boston's Game 6 loss.
