Medvedev Brings Modernization Agenda to Russia-EU Summit
Russia and the European Union Tuesday jointly called for an impartial probe into the deadly Israeli operation against a support flotilla and urged the opening of the crossings in Gaza.
- EU and Russia requires a full and neutral investigation of the events and circumstances - the partners said that their summit in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don.
Moscow and Brussels said they "regret the loss of life" during the Israeli procedure and called for "immediate" opening of a channel humanitarian aid to Gaza. It was also said that - the EU and Russia demanded an immediate opening of border crossings for the flow of caring aid, trade in goods and persons to and from Gaza.
