Post Grad students to join Safdarjung strike

Over 500 doctors, including doctoral students, interns and junior inhabitants in Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital went on a mass hunger strike Tuesday to protest next to "the lack of basic services."

They have also endangered to boycott the Out Patient Department (OPD) services.

A conference between doctors and the hospital Monday ended without a winner. The medical director himself has threatened rustic catering junior doctors.

The students had theatrical a protest in April by blocking the ring road to the hospital.

The management had promised that the problems would be solved, but refused to give a time limit.
