The Sensex and Nifty were trading in the green, near the day's high, ahead of the derivatives expiry on Thursday. The markets have been sluggish and mostly lower since the opening on the back of negative global cues.
The Sensex was trading at 17,760 up 11 points or 0.06 per cent and the Nifty stood at 5,326 up 9 points or 0.19 per cent at 2.18 p.m.
