July 07, 2010, Few moments ago, An earthquake of magnitude 5.4. rocked the parts of Los Angeles & Southern California
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, The temblor centered about 28 miles south of Palm Springs, which is about 130 miles east of Los Angeles. The earthquake was initially declared to be a 5.9 magnitude tremor, but was later downgraded
The shaking felt as far away as Las Vegas, San Diego and Ridgecrest, which is 100 miles north of Los Angeles. Residents live in Hesperia and the High Desert area also felt the earthquake.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, but dozens of aftershocks recorded, with the largest measuring the size-3.0.
Said Suzi Brown, Disneyland spokeswoman, all amusement rides and attractions were inspected before the guests would be allowed to ride again. This is in keeping with the resort policy for any magnitude seismic activity.For More Information Click Here
