Militants attack security forces in Sopore, curfew continued in Srinagar

News/Srinagar Latest update/curfew continued in Srinagar and other towns/two policemen were injured in two separate militant attacks



According to official report, an indefinite curfew continued in Srinagar and other major towns in Kashmir and two policemen were injured in two separate militant attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore town on Friday.

As per declaration of senior police officer in Sopore town, "Militants fired at State Bank of India building in Sopore town late Thursday, injuring one policeman. In another incident, militants fired on a police vehicle in the same town early Friday and the driver was hurt, "

Curfew continued for the third day in all areas of Srinagar city, Sopore, Ganderbal, Handwara and south Kashmir's Anantnag, Pulwama, Kakpora and some cities along the Jammu-Srinagar highway. For More Information click
