Chennai Rhinos mixed luck at CCL

The Celebrity Cricket League that has four teams – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi film industry playing a T20 cricket tournament has opened in a grand way on Saturday in Bangalore.

Two matches were played by Chennai Rhinos vs. Telugu Warriors and Karnataka Bulldozers vs. Mumbai Heroes. Interestingly Chennai Rhinos has won the first match against Telugu heroes but luck didn’t favour them during the second match as they lost the match against Karnataka Bulldozers which was held in Chennai Chepauk stadium.

Chennai Rhinos defeated Andhra team by 21 runs with Vishnu scoring the maximum runs. As Suriya is not present at the match on Saturday, Sarath Kumar had led the team. The second match on Sunday was led by Suriya in Chepauk Stadium and the toss was won by Chennai Rhinos but the poor bowling by Chennai team has witnessed the loss of match against Karnataka Bulldozers.
The action is hot and strong as all the teams are playing with willpower and guts.

It’s not just cricket on meadow but ample of entertainment programme that includes songs, music and cheer girls are drawing the attention of the huge crowd.

The next matches are scheduled on June 11 & 12 at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.
