The song - an all-time hit by Kalyanji-Anandji - has been remixed by Nadiadwala with the song "Dhanno" in their films. Kalyanji Anandji and heirs had filed a suit before the High Court, accused Nadiadwala for copyright infringement. Punit and Amit, sons and heirs of the deceased Prakash Mehr - the producer and director Laawaris - filed a suit before the court, said that the song was written by Mehr, and they had the rights to the lyrics.
