Make Tamil the language of High Court: Karunanidhi‎
Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Sunday called on the Supreme Court and Madras High Court to take steps to Tamil in the High Court.

"Tamil should also come to the Supreme Court. The Tamil language should Madras High Court and all judges should strive to achieve this," he said to the High Court to reveal the statue of BR Ambedkar.

Chief Minister's remarks came after a Supreme Court judge Justice P. Sathasivam, the Supreme Court of Madras High Court HL Gokhale and Justice FM Ibrahim Kalifulla deals with the composition of Tamil. Justice Gokhale made introductory remarks in Tamil.

Mr. Karunanidhi said the government could issue orders to bring relief for the families of the dead defenders of welfare fund for lawyers is Rs.2 lakh Rs.5 lakh.

"I am ready to give even more," he said and stressed that he can not make announcements when the General Assembly is in session.

His announcement followed the request of President RC Paul Kanagaraj Madras High Court Supports Association (MHAA). "Money is no problem, but I have to comply with the law," said Mr. Karunanidhi.

Chief Minister also promised to respond to community demand for a lawyer seeking to establish in March 1910 on the basis of health confidence.

"It can also be considered. I intend to discuss with the authorities and make the necessary," he said, adding that the declaration is made by the General Assembly after the session was over.

Justice KG Balakrishnan, Chief Justice of India, who unveiled the statue of Ambedkar said that if only the remaining products can be created more quickly to remove the courts and the appointment of new judges.

He made it known its appreciation for the elimination of 20 000 cases in a short time.
