Kapil Sibal says he did not speak about ministerial colleagues

Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal Monday deprived of news which quoted him as saying that the contentious statements surroundings Minister Jairam Ramesh on China had put the government in an "awkward" state of affairs.

Sibal said here that he had gone to Ludhiana on Sunday to be present at a social function and had not spoken to any media.

"I am astonished to see reports in the media that I had talked about my ministerial colleagues. These reports groundless," he said.
