Damon Evans was pulled over for not staying in his lane last night just before midnight, and in his car was Courtney Fuhrmann who he says is just a “friend.”
Evans, who is married and the athletic director at the University of Georgia, just started a new five-year contract with the university, and possibly was out celebrating.
After being pulled over, he was subsequently arrested for DUI. Fuhrmann was also arrested because she kept getting out of the car when the officer told her to stay in it.
So who is Courtney Fuhrmann? The Atlanta Journal-Courier reports that she works as an asset manager at a real estate company in Atlanta. She is 28 years old and has a degree in journalism. She has refused to talk with reporters thus far.
It’s difficult to see how she fits into Evans’ life, as he is married and also a very vocal supporter of NOT drinking and driving.
