Mumbai serial killings: More than one killer?
Mumbai: The Mumbai police now say there could be more than one killer behind the Kurla serial killings.
Three girls under the age of 10 were found raped and murdered in the east Mumbai suburb between February and June.
On Thursday, the Mumbai police arrested a man named Ahmad Javed Shaikh for the crimes. But later his DNA and blood samples only matched those of the third victim. The DNA samples of the first two victims did not match that of the arrested suspect.
Javed was produced before the Vikhroli metropolitan magistrate on Thursday which remanded him to police custody for 14 days.
