Khaled Hosseini, author of "The Kite Runner," on Afghanistan's refugees

The war in Afghanistan has displaced thousands of people from their homes, adding to the 43 million refugees around the world.

Afghanistan has one of the largest refugee populations in the world. Khaled Hosseini, bestselling author of "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns," talks about the plight of refugees. He is currently a goodwill envoy with the UN Refugee Agency. He is also the founder of the Khaled Hosseini Foundation, which provides humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.
