Despite his controversial behavior, Charlie Sheen has no shortage of job offers. He negotiates for a new series based on the 2003 movie “Anger Management” that starred Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.
Producer Joe Roth wants Sheen to portray an athlete-turned counsellor who enrages his patients more than calming them down, reports Hollywood Reporter. "Receiving several opportunities but can't comment on anything at this time," said Sheen's spokesperson.
Sheen, 45, has not worked since being sacked in March from hit CBS sitcom 'Two and a Half Men'. He was the highest-paid TV actor, earning £1.1million an episode.
But it all fell apart when he called show creator Chuck Lorre a "contaminated little maggot"
Though the planned programme has not yet received a finance or distribution deal, it is said that the first episode will be ready by autumn next year.
The 45-year-old actor was recently axed from the show "Two and a Half Men" due to his erratic behaviour and turbulent personal life.
