Modi to reply to second showcause notice today

Hovering IPL chief Lalit Modi will submit its response to the board today at its second show cause notice. Mehmood Abdi, Modi's councel long-established that they would submit the answer on Monday. Previously, the deadline for submission was extended by 10 days on the Modi asks for.

"Yes, he sent it last night," informed Modi Legal Counsel Mehmood Abdi today.Abdi is scheduled to go to the BCCI headquarters here today to handover the hard copy of the answer that is predictable to be slightly more than 24 pages.

The show cause notice was whether an e-mail sent to the BCCI of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) chairman Giles Clarke, where he had claimed that Modi was trying to undermine the existing arrangement of international and English cricket.

Modi is filed defamation notice on Clarke to mention that the ECB chief has accused the suspended IPL Chief trying to float a rebel league in England, breaking the global Cricket Council (ICC) rules.

Modi was also served show cause notice by BCCI third yesterday of theatrical rights and 150-second commercial slot in between the balls in the telecast of IPL-3.

Modi has already replied to the first show cause notice served on him with an irresistible 15,000 page response.
