Gaza flotilla: MV Rachel Corrie heads for Israel coast

Gaza flotilla

International activists pledged Tuesday to try to break the Israeli barrier of Gaza Strip with another ship carrying caring aid, a day after an Israeli naval blockade of the first six ship convoy left nine people dead and many injured.

MV Rachel Corrie, who was a part of the original Freedom Flotilla intercept by the Israeli military, leaving nine activists dead, arrives in Gaza to 08:00 Saturday, organizer said today.

The ships went down behind the original fleet after having routine problems, but have sailed against Israeli coast since yesterday.

Turkey - one of Israel's closest ally Muslim before the Monday clashes left several people dead - was last night reported to be bearing in mind sending a naval base for escort vessels.

This will be in the region at the end of the week, creating a potential flash point for a major conflict sandwiched between nations.

Today, Israel bowed to world weight and began deporting the activist who was seized in Monday's failed raid.
