IPL’s interim chairman wanted to be Pune co-owner
The Indian Premier League interim chairman Chirayu Amin had wanted to become part owner of a permit, and be a member of the Governing Council. After Amin was contacted by an ineffective bidder for the franchise Pune - Anirudhha Deshpande, director of the City Corporation - had agreed to buy 10 percent of the shares through one of his workers.
The Indian Express is in control of a letter in which Amin had confirmed his interest in becoming a part of the franchisee, if the bid was successful. In the letter addressed to the City business Limited, dated 3/19/2010, said: "This has reference to the discussions you've been there with us in taking a stake in your bid for an IPL franchise in Pune. I have gone through the suggestions from you, and confirm that I am willing to take 10 percent of the shares in the bid for the franchise. "Deshpande long-established he had contacted Amin." We had a small consortium, and we had contacted many well-known people, including Mr Chirayu Amin, "he said.

I agreed to invest up to 10 percent from one of our partners. Before participate in the offer, I wrote a letter to BCCI president Mr Shashank Manohar in this connection, and also in the letter that further clarification would be taken from the BCCI before you invest, if the offer was a success, "Amin said.
Sahara Group has productively won the right to the name of the franchisee Pune for RS 1702 crore.
