Two Jaish militants killed in Sopore encounter
Thurs Jaish-e-Mohammad militants have been killed and an army jawan injured in an during the night encounter with security forces in Sopore, police said Tuesday.
The gunbattle erupted on Lalid-Sopore during search operations, 60 km from Srinagar, last twilight.
An army jawan was also injured in the gunbattle that sustained when last reports came in, they said.
The security forces had killed four militants Monday, is believed to be foreigners in tightly Hamam Nardagan forests in Rafiabad, 65 km from Srinagar. An army jawan was injured in the gunbattle.
The identity of the slain militants and their relations were detected. Four AK-47 rifles, one UBGL and other weapons and ammunition were healthier from the slain militants.
