We have interesting details for those of you who are planning to pick up Microsoft’s Kinect system for the Xbox 360, as a UK retailer has released unofficial specs for the device, revealing that Kinect only has support for 2 players at a time.

As reported from VG247, the spec sheet states that Kinect has the ability to track up to six people, but the key thing here is that only TWO can be ‘active’ at the same time.

Within the spec sheet, you’ll find all sorts of useful information on Kinect, including dimensions, video resolution, confirmation on the Skeletal Tracking System, 16-bit audio and much more.

Don’t forget that this information is still unofficial until Microsoft confirms it, but what are your thoughts on a max of 2 players at once? This may not be too much of an issue if you are playing a turn-based game where you can switch positions, but what about co-op platformers?

Let us know your thoughts on this – Are you disappointed or did you expect a max of 2 players?
