Tennis star Sania Mirza said that the Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was awarded the home town.
Mirza was here with Chief Minister Arjun Munda inaugurated a tennis court. Sania husband Malik was also present.
"It feels great to be in Ranchi. I have heard a lot about the city and wanted to come here. Sania said that I return here to play tennis."
He praised the newly built tennis courts and world class described. "I hope the people of Ranchi would do well in tennis. Ranchi, Dhoni's home town and I am honored to be here."
She also deputy chief minister Arjun Munda and played tennis with Sudesh Mahto. He practiced for about an hour on the new court.
