Flooding and landslides from the season's first steamy storm has killed at least 142 people and left thousands living rough in Central America, officials said Monday.
The first named storm of the 2010 Pacific season deserted more than a meter rain in parts of Guatemala, including El Salvador and Honduras. At least 113 people were killed, with about 50 missing in Guatemala alone as rescue workers search from side to side the ruins.
