Mangalore: Cranes Arrive at Plane Crash Site to Help Clear Debris



Mangalore, Jun 30: The clearing of the debris left after the crash of the Air India Express flight last month, began on Tuesday June 29. The cleaning operation being conducted by Fiza Group, Kuloor, used the help of cranes on Wednesday June 30.




A S Balakrishna Naidu, chief engineer, Fiza Group, said that the process may take about 12 days and they may need an extra crane for the clearing process as large parts like the wings and tail pieces of the body need to be carried away.
