Heavy rain will probably whip the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and north Tamil Nadu during the next two days as a cyclone "Laila", which further intensified and was centered in the Bay of Bengal about 400 km east of Chennai, is expected to cross Andhra coast on Thursday.
