Argentina knocks off Mexico, 3-1
Argentina needed a couple of breaks in its second round World Cup match. It got one from the referee and another from Mexico.

Carlos Tevez scored twice — once on a disputed goal — and Gonzalo Higuain added another as the Albiceleste beat Mexico 3-1 on Sunday to move into the quarterfinals.

U.S. Happy to Show England, and Others, How Much It Has Grown

Five hours before the long-awaited World Cup match Saturday between the United States and England ended in a tie, a cafe across the street from Royal Bafokeng Stadium was an elbow-to-elbow crush of red, white and blue, overflowing with English and American fans, a mixed zone of beer and good-natured trash-talking.
