Directorate of Punjab Elementary Education has affirmed 2010 the final merit list results. This is one of the important University of India as the current Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh was cultured at Punjab University, Chandigarh and Oxford and Cambridge in Britain. Professor Har Gobind Khorana, famous Nobel laureate and biotechnologist was educated at Punjab University.
