India's Cleanest City | Chandigarh

Chandigarh
The capital of Punjab and Haryana, the city of Chandigarh, emerge as the cleanest city in India in family member to cleanliness in the National Rating Exercise. Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy announced the list. Mysore was ranked second, followed by Surat and NDMC New Delhi.

Notice this, Urban Development S Jaipal Reddy Mysore listed as number two, number three in Surat and NDMC, New Delhi in the fourth location.

"The reason of this work out is to identify better results and to give confidence other cities to do better. The idea behind the work out is to strengthen initiatives in states and cities in the direction of better sanitation," says Reddy.
