India's Bharti Airtel Ltd. (532454.BY) Friday said that the restructuring of their businesses, but tried to dampen fears of huge layoffs, says the impact on employment would be minimal.
Bharti Airtel, India's largest mobile operator, more than 164000000 subscribers in the country, did not specify the restructuring plan.
In a statement, Bharti Airtel, said any changes made in the interests of stakeholders and shared openly.
Saturday, the Economic Times, citing various unnamed senior Bharti, the company announced plans to combine their mobile phones, satellite TV and direct-to-home and cellular telephone and broadband Telemedia business in a üksuseks.Ettevõtetele together represent 90% of the company's revenue, he said.
