At least 16 killed in Indian train derailment, 161 injured
A huge rescue process is taking place in eastern India Orissa Saturday after at least 16 populace were killed and 161 injured in a train derailment Friday night.
Fifteen coach in Rajdhani Express runs between Delhi and Guwahati city unraveling from the rails in Katihar district.
Officials said that the teach traffic on this busy way had been given up for lost after the event early Tuesday.
They said it be not clear what caused the derailment of the train.
In November last year, eight coach of a traveler train derail in the eastern state of Jharkhand after collective rebels blew up a piece of the pathway.
The Indian railway network involve many millions of people daily, but has a poor safety documentation.
