IPL’s interim chairman wanted to be Pune co-owner

The Indian Premier League’s interim chairman Chirayu Amin had intended to be co-owner of a franchise while being in the member of governing council. After Amin was approached by an unsuccessful bidder for the Pune franchise — Anirudhha Deshpande, the managing director of City Corporation — he had agree to buy 10 per cent stake through one of his associate companies.
