Although the usual buzz and hype of the Bhatt-Emraan car apparently seemed to be missing (though musically!) Delh abdomen and one week old was expected to more than a formidable opponent, a good start in less than 10 crore MURDER 2 increased trade and the media as a surprise.
As indicated in the inputs, the murder 2 went to two collections of 55-65, and 80 percent, more-Delhi-UP, East Punjab and Gujarat. In fact, the film picked up further during the rest of the year shows. If the economy to trade songs already proclaimed the film's success, and it's not really a surprise, since the first day was only slightly less than last week DELHI stomach. And this may be due to the vagaries of weather Mumbai city and suburbs.
Another version of the same week, CHILLAR PARTY, although the performance of Salman and Ranbir, is washed up, and not even one week to complete some theaters. Because the older version, DELHI BELLY has been able to the first week of the good lattice 36.50 crore stomach from India making it the third-best week of the year after the attack (70 crore) and the DOUBLE DHAMAAL (37 crores) . Even Amitabh Bachchan's BUDDAH... HOGA TERRA BAAPis reasonably successful in the first week of about 11 crores plus, it's very deserving given DELHI abdomen wave, and a rather dull first day of the weak.

Salman Khan to shoot with a real tiger!

The buzz surrounding Salman Khan and his upcoming film Sher Khan is that Sallu will eventually be shooting for the film with a real tiger.
Since the film touches upon the subject of wild life and the poaching of animals, it will be shot in the forests of Thailand with real animals. Sohail will also rely on visual effects and animatronics for many scenes.
Since the film touches upon the subject of wild life and the poaching of animals, it will be shot in the forests of Thailand with real animals. Sohail will also rely on visual effects and animatronics for many scenes.
Sohail Khan explains that a trained tiger will be hired for many scenes with Salman Khan. For the shots that require Salman’s close-up with the tiger, special effects will be used to create the tiger. For wide-angle shots, the real tiger will be used.
So far only the first draft of the film’s script is ready. Sohail says work is now underway on the storyboard after which he will take the call if the film should be made in 3D, as proposed, or not.
However, before beginning to shoot the film, Salman Khan will have to take special lessons from expert animal trainers in Thailand. After all, being with a tiger is no easy task, even for a spunky fellow like Salman.
Though it’s still time for the film to go on the floors, it’s worth one’s while to imagine Salman and a tiger face-to-face, staring into each other’s eyes. Who will blink first? Make a guess.

Salman Khan caught Smoking in public again !

Looks like actor Salman Khan has again got back to his trouble lander mode. Days after he was fined for smoking in public, Bollywood’s ‘dabangg’ actor Salman Khan was seen flouting the rule. Salman, who is shooting for the film-Bodyguard in Patiala was seen smoking at Sarhind Road.
This public figure, who is enjoying the success of Ready got into trouble while shooting in Punjab earlier for smoking a cigar in public. Salman and the producer of the upcoming film were slapped a fine when they were caught smoking in Baradari based Hotel Neemrana a few days back.
While shooting for his film Bodyguard in Punjab, Salman was penalised by the local administration for smoking in public place at a hotel. Taking a photograph as a proof, which was published in a daily, the Patiala district administration issued a notice (challan) to Salman Khan, which was ironically observed as World No Tabacco Day.
Reportedly, a Patiala-based NGO has also decided to serve a legal notice to Salman for smoking in public. In January 2009, Salman was issued two notices for smoking at a public place in Kurali town in Punjab's Mohali district earlier.
The star cast of the film including Kareena Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Asrani and Aditya Pancholi are camping in Patiala for the film’s shooting, which will continue till July 15.

Salman back as lover-boy in ‘Ready’

She’s a runaway bride. He’s a runaway rogue, a little rough around the edges but a good hearted lovable soul. Salman Khan can play this character over and over again with his eyes closed. In “Ready” he is back to playing the lover-boy clown.
“Mr. Fix-it” and “Ms Hum Apke Hain Conwoman” flirt and get naughty in exotic locations. They don’t generate chemistry. They are just being around.
Jeez, these two never tire of saying cheese! And when the going gets cheesy there’s always the family to fall back on. There are three families, living in homes that appear to have been built to accommodate over-sized families. The setting is almost laughably anachronistic.
Salman Khan and his director Anees Bazmi pay a hefty comic homage to “Hum Aapke Hain Koun”. The Salman-Asin romance unfolds against the backdrop of a commodious joint family where every family-member seems determined to have a good time even at the expense of good taste.
True, Asin lacks the gamine charm of Madhuri Dixit. But then the Salman Khan in “Ready” is not quite the Salman Khan from “Hum Aaapke Hain Koun”. He hasn’t aged. He’s just become more smug and self-confident. Many times we catch him looking bored on camera. But that is this iconic star’s style statement.
When you are Salman Khan you can slip out of a character when you want. No one is complaining.
Bazmi’s script, a shoot off of a Telugu hit, accommodates more characters than Goa during the tourist season.
Every character is over-dressed and over-the-top. Then men are constantly looking for reasons to say goofy corny things to one another. That’s the required mood of this “panga-‘mirth’-lena” comedy with an attitude that stretches from one end of the lengthy narration to the other with hardly a break for the plot to gather together its thoughts.
Bazmi keeps the proceedings neatly on the side of good taste. Innuendos are avoided, and partly so because Salman has an image of the good-bad boy. He never offends refined sensibilities with his wildly bratty antics, though he never shows any inclination to be one of those refined types himself.
He is happy being human in a way only Salman Khan can be. He gets able support from some solid performers like Akhilendra Mishra, Sharad Saxena, Manoj Pahwa, television comedian Sudesh Lehri and Mahesh Manjrekar whose hilarious act as Salman’s dad is lifted from Sanjay Chhel’s “Khubsoorat”.
Strangely the women performers are all vapid to the point of seeming sedated. This is a men’s comedy with women welcome to join the fun.
But nobody minds. And not because this is a mindless comedy. The quality of the gags is often higher than what we usually get in Bollywood comedies. But the film suffers from an overloaded narration.
There is too much effort to cram in “entertainment” at every possible level. There is also a rather lame attempt to define the status of women in feudal households. But the attempt is so hurried and cursory, it’s almost farcical.
Replete with tongue-in-cheek references to many earlier blockbusters including Sooraj Barjatya’s “Hum Aapke Hain Koun”, “Ready” is like one of those familiar tunes sung to a new set of lyrics that you may not approve of but you empathize with because it offers the comfort of the familiar.
Having said that, the film, it must be confessed, doesn’t really offer even diehard Salman fans the fun-quotient expected from the mega-star. Too many people colonise this domestic comedy. Boisterous uncles, over-dressed aunties, under-intellectualised gangsters and irksome henchmen are all greedy to be noticed. The trouble is, they aren’t doing anything that is terribly exciting or engaging, except playing the foil to the star of the show.

Salman’s ‘Ready’ most awaited…
Salman Khan is the talk of the town these days. After winning multiple awards for his awesome performance in Dabangg, his upcoming film ‘Ready’ is an icing on the cake.
In a recent poll conducted by a popular website, Salman’s ‘Ready’ was voted as the most eagerly awaited film for the first half of 2011. The other flicks listed in the poll besides ‘Ready’, were Aamir Khan’s Dhobi Ghat, Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Priyanka Chopra’s 7 Khoon Maaf and Akshay Kumar’s Patiala House.
Salman’s ‘Ready’, co-starring Asin is directed by Anees Bazmee. The film is the remake of Telugu hit ‘Ready’ which originally starred Ram and Genelia. It was one of the super hit films of 2008. Buzz had it that Deepika Padukone was Bazmee’s first choice but if sources are to be believed, it is said that Salman Khan was the one who recommended Asin for the project.
The film is not an action thriller but a comedy with doses of action.
