
Former conjoined twins,
Sita and
Gita, who was away in Delhi's
Batra Hospital earlier in April, is now ready to be sent
habitat.
The twins were separated by a team of
27 doctors consisting of pediatric surgeons, orthopedic surgeons,
plastic surgeons and intensive care specialists,
5 April in an operation that took over 14 hours.
"After the operation was twins in intensive care for a few days. They were later moved to branches.
Nutritional, weight-wise, food-wise, they are going very well," said Dr Sanjeev Bagai, Managing Director of
Batra Hospital and
