Chillar Party is a movie directed by Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari, aimed at the most ignored Indian audience, the children. The movie stars Irrfan Khan besides the child brigade, all of whom seem to appearing on the big screen for the first time in prominent roles, and also has a special appearance in a song by Ranbir Kaspoor. West is West Review – Bollywood Hindi movie 2011 West Is West is a comedy-drama film, which is a sequel to the 1999 comedy East Is East.

When Compared the two films ‘East is East’ was a one-dimensional character while the new one West is West’s Khan is much more complex. But there is no comedy in this film and which has no detail in the play of drama where Indian viewers will not recognise with the main leads, which is very poosr script to say and ultimately reducing the impact of the drama.The best of the movie which offers drama the oustanding performances and the background score stands out. Overall, West Is West is narrated well but it definately will face low prospects at the box-office in India. Overall, a boring movie!

New Releases Add More Red To The Bollywood Report Card

If not for anything else, a (miniscule) section of audience concerned about the industry and trade were wondering if the nostalgic value attached to the 'Krantiveer - The Revolution', sequel to commercial hit of the mid-90s, 'Krantiveer' (Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia), would help the film gain some eye balls at the least. However, this was not the case to be as the film didn't find any takers whatsoever on its release. The film was greeted with empty halls all over though single screens were comparatively (and strictly relatively) better than multiplex screen.

Lafangey Parindey (2010)

Yash Raj films revealed the first look of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Lafangey Parindey’. The film has been directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

The story is set in the gritty streets of Mumbai. It is believed that the film is about the bike gangs of Mumbai. Neil, who has performed some daring stunts in the film, plays a character with an interesting name - ‘One Shot Nandu’.

Deepika on the other hand will be seen in an action-based avatar - Pinky Palkar, where she will ride bikes and do daredevil stunts. The actress reportedly refused to use a body double.

Yashraj Films’ ‘Lafangey Parindey’ will hit the big screens worldwide on August 20.
